Sydney Connors is a passionate, smart, and athletic student at Montview. Sydney has been attending Mountview for five years and is off to a great start for college. She is really passionate about becoming a therapist and helping other people.
This 10th grade student at Montview plays for the volleyball team and has a passion for becoming a therapist. Although she occasionally arrives late to school, she is a kind and helpful student who is always there for her friends.
“It’s a bit rough, I don’t know, it’s fun when I’m with my friends, but most of the classwork is quite boring,” Sydney said, when asked about how she would describe school.
Believe it or not, school can be rough and can lead to a lot of stress for many students. But sometimes, we can find school to be fun if we find the right people to enhance our high school experience.
“I like to talk it out with my friends or some of my family, and sometimes just sitting by myself with my thoughts is nice,” Sydney said, when asked how she deals with stress.
Additionally, school can cause us a lot of stress with the work and all the classes we take. We can find things we enjoy doing to reduce this stress, so we can become better students.
When asked about what motivates her, Sydney replied, “My family and my parents, because I don’t want to disappoint them.”
Nonetheless, everyone has something or someone that motivates them. Having someone that motivates you makes school and life better, so finding something that motivates you is beneficial because you become a better person for yourself and others.
“Volleyball, I’m in student council, and NHS,” Sydney said when asked what clubs she was in.
Being in clubs and sports can make school a lot better too because you have something to look forward to at the end of the day and it keeps you occupied.
In conclusion, the students of Montview are really passionate about what they want to do in the future and the clubs they have joined. We can learn a lot from the students in this school that can help us in school and to improve ourselves.
