Quarantine

Delilah Maestas and Ben McCall

Seconds to minutes, minutes to hours, hours to days, days to weeks, weeks to months. More deaths have come upon these dark horrifying days. Time is slow and it seems as if this pain will be never ending. What first started as something small to get rid of people, has now come across the world. Locked in our homes like prisoners hoping the world will continue, but it hasn’t. Focus on the little things you can focus on. Seeing as the light still shines in the night of this abandoned place we call home. Well people are dying, the weather continues and provides the beauty of life in many other things. With the grass green and the spring snow falling, many wonder when will it end. Today? Tomorrow? In a week? In a month? In a year? Never, is what some think. Only death is being reported, only bad news. Yet, no one is seeing the good about this. Life is being brought to the things people are ungrateful for. As the days pass more are frightened that the world will be shut down forever, but some are making the best of this. Doing projects, spending time with those you live with, and  most of all getting used to technology being their source of learning. With all things bad in the world, it’s time to face the dark and bring ourselves into the light. Look at the beauty of nature. With the quarantine hopefully coming to an end, let all pain go free and enjoy the pleasing sights of Mother Earth’s creations.
